Phase II (Phase 2) Environmental Site Assessment
Schrack Environmental Consulting (SECI) is uniquely qualified to conduct Phase II Environmental Site Assessments to evaluate the suspect areas on your property. Often times during a Phase 1 investigation, Recognized Environmental Conditions (RECS) are identified, requiring further environmental assessment. SECI has conducted Phase II investigations throughout the Midwest on a wide variety of properties – dealing with heavy metal and solvent contamination, to low level radioactive contamination and numerous other industrial hazards involved with manufacturing.
SECI’s Phase 2 investigation typically involves the completion of soil borings and ground water monitoring wells to evaluate for the presence of soil and ground water contamination. Schrack Environmental Consulting’s Phase II investigations are conducted in accordance with the Illinois Environmental Protection Agency’s – Leaking Underground Storage Tank Program or the Illinois Environmental Protection Agency’s – Voluntary Site Remediation Program guidelines to ensure that the initial sampling efforts can be utilized as part of the closure process. This investigation approach saves the client both time and money.
