Underground Storage Tank Removal (UST) – Chicago Leaking Underground Storage Tank Closures

As part of our Environmental Consulting and Remediation Management Services, Schrack Environmental Consulting (SECI) has been involved in the Underground Storage Tank assessment, remediation and closure process in Illinois since 1992. Mr. Ronald W. Schrack has over 30 years of experience dealing with gasoline service stations and industrial tank installations and has removed underground storage tanks containing hazardous waste, hazardous substances and petroleum products.

SECI has closed hundreds of tank sites in Illinois and has successfully guided clients through the modifications to the Leaking Underground Storage Tank (LUST) program.  We have obtained numerous No Further Remediation (NFR) letters from the Illinois Environmental Protection Agency through all the programs that have evolved over the past 20 years. In addition, SECI has obtained over $2,500,000.00 in reimbursement from the LUST fund for our clients.
