CCDD – Clean Construction and Demolition Debris Sampling and Reporting
When soil is removed from a construction or demolition site that has been used for commercial or industrial purposes, certifications must be made by a licensed professional engineer to determine if there are any environmental concerns. Clean construction or demolition debris (CCDD) is clean (uncontaminated) broken concrete without protruding metal bars, bricks, rock, stone, reclaimed or other asphalt pavement, or other soils generated from construction/demolition activities. If a demolition or renovation project is entered with an eye toward human health and environment, the impact to both can be lessened or even removed. This will allow communities to continue to grow in harmony with the citizens and environment. SECI can collect the samples from a generation site, conduct the required historical background evaluation and complete the LPC – Form 663 with the required PE certification.
Schrack Environmental Consulting, Inc. (SECI) has been conducting sampling and reporting for Clean Construction and Demolition Debris for large CCDD landfill operators since 2010.
